Desktop Movie (YouTube)
Designed for Grades 9-10
Module 7 is all about YouTube! Here, we make our own desktop movie about any subject. The goal is to create a short movie with or without a video camera. Screen shots, pictures, animations, and more, this is a chance to get a topic to students through a movie format. YouTube accounts are free and allow a variety of uses. Educationally, YouTube has huge value.
I chose to make a video explaining the cell theory. This is a topic that comes up in integrated science, in grade 9, or in biology classes, grade 9-10. Students rarely have a good visual on the cell theory so I incorporated a commonly used website, YouTube, with the cell theory. To view my movie, click on the link above OR watch below!
