EduBlog Blogging Website
Designed for this class, can be altered for teaching middle or high school.
Module 3 was an ongoing project. The goal was to create a blog and update it at least four times throughout the quarter. A list of blog websites were given and we chose which one we wanted to use. Once a site was set up, the first entry was completed as well as site design. Each blog was to be composed by the various due dates and should be about our thoughts about the course.
This was a great opportunity to figure out a blog site for our future classrooms. Because so many sites can contain advertising that is not appropriate for educational purposes, a lot of the blog sites were specifically designed for educational use. I chose to use EduBlog Blogging Site. This was extremely easy to set up and maintain. I also had little problem figuring out how to create, edit, and publish the posts. The background was a one click design and really made the site pop.
